Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IN-N01-OX2 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Intellect Neurosciences under its CONJUMAB-A platform. It is designed for the treatment of neurodegenerative and retinal diseases, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and Alzheimer's disease. The drug consists of a humanized monoclonal antibody (IN-N01, also known as 82E1) targeting the N-terminus of beta-amyloid, chemically conjugated to melatonin (OX2), a small molecule with potent antioxidant, anti-fibrillogenic, and neuroprotective properties. By targeting beta-amyloid, IN-N01-OX2 is intended to promote the clearance of amyloid plaques while simultaneously delivering melatonin to sites of damage to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation, potentially avoiding side effects like vasogenic edema.
