Overview

IN023 is an mRNA-based vaccine candidate being developed by InnoRNA Biotech for the prevention of Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2 (HSV-2) infection. The vaccine utilizes InnoRNA's proprietary mRNA and lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery technology platform, which features a diversity-oriented lipid library of over 5,000 ionizable lipids. IN023 is designed to encode viral antigens that trigger a protective immune response against HSV-2. As of early 2026, the candidate is in the IND-enabling stage of development.
