Overview

IN10028 is a second-generation, highly selective small molecule inhibitor of Focal Adhesion Kinase (FAK) developed by Inxmed (应世生物). It is designed to target the tumor microenvironment and overcome resistance to standard therapies in advanced solid tumors. FAK is a non-receptor tyrosine kinase that mediates signaling between the extracellular matrix and the cytoskeleton, influencing cell motility, survival, and proliferation. By inhibiting FAK, IN10028 aims to disrupt these pathways, potentially enhancing the efficacy of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The drug is currently undergoing Phase 1/1b clinical evaluation in China for patients with advanced malignant solid neoplasms, administered as an oral enteric-coated tablet.
