Overview

IN1605 is a small molecule inhibitor targeting the Myeloid Differentiation Primary Response 88 (MyD88) protein, currently under development by Protheragen. MyD88 serves as a critical adapter protein in the signaling pathways of Toll-like receptors (TLRs) and interleukin-1 receptors (IL-1Rs), which are essential components of the innate immune system. Dysregulation of these pathways is implicated in the pathogenesis of various autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. By blocking MyD88-mediated signaling, IN1605 aims to reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and modulate aberrant immune responses. The drug is currently in Phase I clinical development for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
