Overview

IN30778 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by InxMed that targets B7-H3 (also known as CD276). B7-H3 is a transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the B7 family of immune checkpoint proteins that is highly overexpressed in a wide range of solid tumors, including lung, prostate, and breast cancers, while maintaining limited expression in normal tissues. This differential expression makes it an attractive target for the selective delivery of cytotoxic agents. IN30778 consists of a monoclonal antibody specific for B7-H3 conjugated to a potent cytotoxic payload. The mechanism of action involves the binding of the ADC to B7-H3 on the surface of tumor cells, followed by internalization of the complex and subsequent release of the payload, which induces cell death. As of early 2024, IN30778 is in the preclinical or IND-enabling stage of development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
