Drug intelligence / Profile preview
INA02 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Inatherys that targets the CD89 receptor (also known as Fc alpha receptor). CD89 is expressed on various inflammatory cells, including neutrophils, monocytes, and macrophages. By binding to CD89, INA02 modulates immune and inflammatory responses, specifically reducing the release of inflammatory mediators. The drug is primarily being developed for the treatment of severe inflammatory diseases that are resistant to conventional therapies, with a focus on conditions such as asthma and arthritis. It has demonstrated effectiveness in preclinical studies and is intended for patients in advanced stages of disease when traditional treatments are no longer effective.
