The inactivated influenza H7N9 vaccine is a monovalent vaccine candidate developed to protect against the H7N9 subtype of the Influenza A virus, which emerged in China in 2013 and poses a significant pandemic threat. The vaccine consists of inactivated (killed) virus particles or purified subunits, primarily the hemagglutinin (HA) protein, which serves as the main antigen to induce neutralizing antibodies.
