Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Inavolisib + atezolizumab** is an investigational combination therapy for solid tumors with PIK3CA mutations. Inavolisib is a potent, selective inhibitor of the PI3K alpha isoform, targeting PIK3CA mutation-driven tumor cell proliferation and survival. Atezolizumab is a monoclonal antibody immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting PD-L1, enhancing T-cell-mediated anti-tumor immune responses. This combination is being studied for safety and efficacy, particularly in patients with recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, and broadly for PIK3CA-mutated cancers. Both drugs are developed by Roche/Genentech, with inavolisib currently investigational and atezolizumab already approved for various cancers[1][3][4][5][7].
