Drug intelligence / Profile preview
InbioDerm A (also referred to as InbioDerm+A) is a combined medical device and biomaterial developed by the Chilean biotechnology consortium Instituto para el Desarrollo Biotecnológico y la Innovación (Inbiocriotec). It consists of a ternary polymeric matrix scaffold composed of gelatin, chitosan, and hyaluronic acid, which is combined with patient-derived autologous plasma. Designed for advanced wound healing and graft bed preparation, InbioDerm A provides a supportive extracellular matrix-like microenvironment that promotes cell adhesion, proliferation, and tissue regeneration. It is compatible with negative-pressure wound therapy (NPWT) and is used to treat complex, slow-healing wounds and skin lesions.
