This is an experimental combination therapy consisting of **INBRX-106** (a hexavalent OX40 agonist antibody), **pembrolizumab** (a programmed death receptor-1 [PD-1] checkpoint inhibitor), **carboplatin** (a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent), and **nab-paclitaxel** (an albumin-bound formulation of paclitaxel). - INBRX-106 is designed to cluster and activate six OX40 (CD134) receptors on T cells, enhancing T cell activation, proliferation, and antitumor function beyond that of traditional bivalent OX40 agonists[1][3][5][7]. - Pembrolizumab blocks PD-1 on T cells, relieving immune suppression by tumor cells[4][5]. - Carboplatin is a DNA crosslinking agent causing apoptosis in cancer cells. - Nab-paclitaxel disrupts microtubule dynamics, inhibiting cell division in cancer cells. This combination aims to maximize antitumor immune response (through OX40 and PD-1 modulation) while also using chemotherapy for direct cytotoxic effect, and is being studied mainly in solid tumors such as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC)[2][6][7][10].
