Drug intelligence / Profile preview
INCA00186 (uprevstobart) is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets and inhibits CD73 (5'-ecto-nucleotidase; NT5E), an ectoenzyme involved in the production of immunosuppressive adenosine within the tumor microenvironment. By antagonizing CD73, INCA00186 reduces adenosine-mediated immunosuppression and enhances anti-tumor immune responses. It has been investigated as both monotherapy and in combination with other immunotherapies such as retifanlimab (anti-PD-1) and the A2A/A2B adenosine receptor antagonist INCB106385 for advanced solid tumors, including gastrointestinal cancers and squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. The drug was developed by Incyte[1][3][4][5][6][7].
