Overview

INCB099318 is a novel, orally administered small-molecule inhibitor of programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1), developed by Incyte for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. By specifically binding to PD-L1 expressed on tumor cells, it blocks the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptor PD-1 on T cells, thereby preventing immune suppression and promoting anti-tumor immune responses. The drug has been evaluated in phase 1 clinical trials for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors who have progressed after standard therapies or are intolerant/ineligible for them. Preliminary results indicate acceptable safety and early signs of antitumor activity at doses ≥200 mg twice daily[1][2][4][5][7].
