YJF-019 is a generic fixed-dose combination therapy developed by Han Wha Pharma for the treatment of respiratory system disorders, specifically chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is a generic version of Ultibro Breezhaler, containing two active bronchodilators: indacaterol and glycopyrronium. Indacaterol is a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) that induces bronchodilation by stimulating beta2-receptors in the airway smooth muscle. Glycopyrronium is a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) that inhibits the bronchoconstrictor effect of acetylcholine on muscarinic M3 receptors. Together, these components provide sustained improvement in lung function and symptom management. YJF-019 is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, primarily undergoing bioequivalence studies to demonstrate comparability to the reference product.
