Overview
**SYH9021** is a once-daily inhaled fixed-dose combination of **indacaterol acetate** and **mometasone furoate** in a dry-powder inhaler for maintenance treatment of asthma. Indacaterol is a long-acting beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that produces sustained bronchodilation, while mometasone furoate is an inhaled corticosteroid that activates glucocorticoid receptors to suppress airway inflammation. The product is being developed in China by Beijing Kangchuanglian Biopharmaceutical Technology Research and CSPC Zhongnuo Pharmaceutical; a Phase III randomized, blinded, active-controlled study in adults with inadequately controlled asthma is registered as CTR20261336.
