Overview

**Indium-111 diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid girentuximab** is a CAIX-targeted radioimmunoconjugate used as an investigational SPECT immunoimaging agent. It consists of the chimeric anti-carbonic anhydrase IX monoclonal antibody girentuximab, also called cG250 or G250, conjugated to diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid and labeled with indium-111. Following intravenous administration, the antibody binds carbonic anhydrase IX on clear cell renal cell carcinoma cells, enabling localization of primary tumors and metastatic lesions by indium-111 gamma imaging. The agent has been used clinically for lesion visualization and dosimetry in clear cell renal cell carcinoma, including as an imaging companion to lutetium-177-girentuximab radioimmunotherapy.
