Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Indium-111-labeled Trillium compound is a novel **radiopharmaceutical drug conjugate** developed by Ratio Therapeutics for the treatment of prostate cancer. This compound targets **prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)**, which is overexpressed on prostate cancer cells, delivering the radioactive isotope indium-111 directly to PSMA-expressing tumors. The mechanism of action is based on targeted delivery of ionizing radiation, causing DNA damage and subsequent cell death in cancer cells. The compound is being studied both as a monotherapy and in combination with the cytoprotective agent PTI-122 to potentially reduce off-target toxicity. It is currently in early clinical development (Phase 0 trials) for metastatic prostate cancer[1][3][4][5][7].
