Indium In 111 Anti-CD45 Monoclonal Antibody BC8 is a radioimmunoconjugate composed of the murine IgG1 monoclonal antibody BC8, which targets the CD45 antigen present on all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. The BC8 antibody is conjugated to a chelator (DOTA) and radiolabeled with the gamma-emitting isotope Indium-111. This agent is primarily used as an imaging tracer to assess biodistribution and dosimetry prior to therapeutic administration of Yttrium-90-labeled BC8 for conditioning regimens before hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in patients with hematologic malignancies such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.
