**Indium In 111 DOTA anti-CEA monoclonal antibody M5A** is an investigational SPECT radioimmunoconjugate comprising the humanized anti-carcinoembryonic antigen monoclonal antibody hT84.66-M5A conjugated to DOTA and labeled with indium-111. It selectively binds carcinoembryonic antigen on CEA-expressing tumor cells, enabling scintigraphic localization of tumor deposits and estimation of biodistribution before administration of therapeutic radiolabeled M5A products such as yttrium-90-DOTA-M5A. It was evaluated in a phase 1 City of Hope study in patients with advanced CEA-producing malignancies, where imaging identified tumor targeting and, in some patients, previously unrecognized brain metastases.
