Overview

**Indium In 111-DOTA-basiliximab** is an investigational CD25-directed radioimmunoconjugate imaging agent. It consists of the chimeric anti-CD25 monoclonal antibody basiliximab conjugated to the macrocyclic chelator DOTA and labeled with indium-111. The basiliximab component binds interleukin-2 receptor subunit alpha on activated T lymphocytes and other CD25-expressing cells, while indium-111 permits gamma-camera/SPECT visualization of antibody biodistribution and CD25-positive tissue. It is being used intravenously as an imaging and dosimetry companion to therapeutic yttrium Y 90-DOTA-anti-CD25 basiliximab in a City of Hope Phase I allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation conditioning study for high-risk hematologic malignancies.
