Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Indocyanine green + human serum albumin (ICG-HSA) is a fluorescent imaging agent that combines indocyanine green with human serum albumin to enhance imaging performance during surgical procedures. The complex offers improved water solubility, enhanced photostability, longer blood half-life, reduced aggregation in blood, and superior imaging performance compared to ICG alone. It is primarily used for near-infrared fluorescence-guided surgery (NIRFGS) to accurately localize tumors in real-time, facilitating precise resection.
