**Indocyanine green lactosome** is an experimental tumor-targeted nanomedicine in which the near-infrared dye and photosensitizer indocyanine green is incorporated into Lactosome polymeric micelles made from poly(L-lactic acid)-block-polysarcosine. Following intravenous administration, the particles circulate and preferentially accumulate in tumors through the enhanced permeability and retention effect, enabling near-infrared fluorescence visualization and localized light-triggered treatment.
