Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Indomirol is a multi-component nutraceutical developed by NutriMed Group, designed to support the functional state of the female reproductive system. It contains indole-3-carbinol, diindolylmethane (DIM), and resveratrol. These components work synergistically to modulate estrogen metabolism, specifically favoring the production of 2-hydroxyestrone over 16-alpha-hydroxyestrone, thereby reducing the risk of hormone-dependent proliferative diseases such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and mastopathy. Additionally, it exhibits antioxidant properties and may inhibit the expression of oncoproteins associated with Human Papillomavirus (HPV).
