Overview

INDP014 is a chemically and genetically modified platform strain of gram-negative bacteria developed by Indaptus Therapeutics for the treatment of infectious diseases. It is part of a novel immunotherapy approach that utilizes attenuated and killed, non-pathogenic gram-negative bacteria with engineered levels of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) to safely activate both innate and adaptive immune pathways. The drug is designed to deliver a multi-targeted package of bacterial pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs), which are recognized by receptors such as Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), NOD, STING, and RIG-I on immune cells. This activation aims to induce broad anti-viral or anti-tumor responses without relying on targeting specific antigens. INDP014 is currently in preclinical development for infectious diseases[1][5][8][9].
