Overview

iNeo-Vac-R01 is a personalized mRNA-based cancer vaccine encoding patient-specific neoantigens. It is designed to stimulate the immune system to recognize and attack tumor cells by presenting tumor-specific mutated peptides (neoantigens) as targets for immune activation. The vaccine is under development primarily for advanced metastatic digestive system neoplasms, including cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric cancer, colorectal carcinoma, and lung cancer. It is administered via intrahepatic injection and aims to function as an immunostimulant by enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. The developer of iNeo-Vac-R01 is Hangzhou Neoantigen Therapeutics (also referred to as Hangzhou New Anjin Biotechnology). As of 2024, the drug is in Phase 1 clinical trials[1][2][3][4][7].
