Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Inflamexa is an investigational combination therapy consisting of the CCR5 antagonist maraviroc and the HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor atorvastatin. Developed by HealthBio (formerly IncellDx), the combination is designed as an immune-reset therapy to target chronic inflammatory pathways and immune dysregulation. It is being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome (PTLDS) and Long COVID (post-acute sequelae of COVID-19). The therapeutic rationale is based on addressing persistent viral or bacterial proteins (such as Borrelia burgdorferi proteins in monocytes) that drive chronic inflammation and fatigue.
