**Biken HA** is a Japan-marketed seasonal influenza hemagglutinin vaccine produced by the Research Foundation for Microbial Diseases of Osaka University. It is an inactivated influenza vaccine containing viral hemagglutinin antigens selected for the relevant influenza season and is administered by subcutaneous injection to prevent influenza. The product was used as the active-comparator injectable vaccine in NCT02955030, a Phase 1 study of Nitto Denko's sublingual influenza-vaccine candidate NSV0001.
