Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Influenza neutralizing clones is a therapeutic program under development by Kling Biotherapeutics for the treatment and prevention of influenza. The program consists of monoclonal antibodies designed to bind to and neutralize the influenza virus, thereby preventing viral entry into host cells and inhibiting replication. These antibodies are identified using Kling Biotherapeutics' proprietary B-cell screening platform, which isolates naturally occurring, high-affinity antibodies from the immune repertoire of human donors who have successfully cleared infections. The program is currently in the discovery phase, aiming to provide a targeted immunotherapy that can mitigate disease severity and reduce viral spread.
