Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The influenza vaccine (BK-01 adjuvant) is an adjuvanted split-virion influenza vaccine developed by Changchun BCHT Biotechnology Co. This biologic product is formulated with the company's proprietary BK-01 adjuvant technology, which is designed to enhance the immune response compared to non-adjuvanted vaccines. The vaccine contains 15 μg of hemagglutinin from each included influenza virus strain per 0.5 mL dose. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials to assess its safety and immunogenicity in adults aged 18 years and older. The split-virion approach involves using inactivated virus particles that have been chemically disrupted, aiming to provide a balance of high immunogenicity and low reactogenicity.
