Overview

Influenza vaccines are immunizations designed to prevent infection by the influenza virus. They work by stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies against specific strains of the virus predicted to be most prevalent each year. Influenza vaccines can be inactivated (killed virus) or recombinant (produced using genetic engineering), and are administered annually due to changing viral strains and waning immunity[4][5]. Endocine is an adjuvant—a substance added to some vaccines to enhance the body's immune response. The combination of an influenza vaccine with Endocine aims to improve immunogenicity compared with standard formulations. This approach is under investigation for its potential benefits in increasing antibody production and broadening protection against various flu strains.
