INFLUSOME-VAC

**INFLUSOME-VAC** is an investigational liposomal influenza subunit vaccine developed at the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School and clinically evaluated by Hadassah Medical Organization. The formulation incorporates influenza-virus surface antigens, hemagglutinin and neuraminidase, in liposomes with cytokine adjuvant activity reported for interleukin-2 or granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor. It was designed to enhance and prolong systemic and mucosal anti-influenza immune responses, including anti-neuraminidase antibodies, particularly in older or otherwise high-risk populations.
