Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Infudopa SubC** is Dizlin's investigational, continuously buffered **subcutaneous levodopa + carbidopa** infusion product for advanced Parkinson's disease with motor fluctuations. The ready-to-use drug solution is delivered through a wearable subcutaneous infusion pump designed to provide stable levodopa exposure during the day. Levodopa is converted in the central nervous system to dopamine to restore deficient dopaminergic signaling, while carbidopa inhibits peripheral aromatic L-amino-acid decarboxylase, reducing peripheral levodopa metabolism and increasing levodopa availability to the brain. In the randomized IPO-001 crossover study, DIZ102 produced stable levodopa plasma concentrations and motor efficacy comparable with intestinal levodopa/carbidopa gel infusion. Dizlin is co-developing the product with Neuraxpharm.
