Ingelvac CircoFLEX

Ingelvac CircoFLEX is a veterinary vaccine indicated for the active immunization of pigs against porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2). It is a single-dose, inactivated subunit vaccine containing the ORF2 protein of PCV2, produced using a baculovirus vector system. The vaccine is formulated as an aqueous suspension with ImpranFLEX, a proprietary polymer adjuvant that enhances immunogenicity without using oil-based components. Upon intramuscular administration, it induces an immune response that reduces viremia, lymphoid depletion, inflammation and colonization of lymphoid tissue associated with PCV2 infection. Onset of immunity occurs within two weeks post-vaccination and lasts at least four months[1][3][4][5]. The product is developed and manufactured by Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health.
