Ingovax ACWY is a quadrivalent meningococcal polysaccharide vaccine developed by Incepta Pharmaceuticals in Bangladesh for the prevention of invasive meningococcal disease. It is designed to provide active immunization against *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroups A, C, W-135, and Y. The vaccine is administered via subcutaneous injection and contains purified capsular polysaccharides from each of the four targeted serogroups. In clinical trials conducted by icddr,b, Ingovax ACWY was evaluated for immunogenicity and safety in healthy adults, demonstrating non-inferiority to existing quadrivalent meningococcal vaccines like Quadri Meningo. It represents the first meningococcal vaccine to be locally manufactured in Bangladesh.
