Overview

InHeVac is a personalized multi-peptide cancer vaccine developed by the University Hospital Tuebingen for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and hematological malignancies. The vaccine is tailored to each patient by selecting 1 to 10 tumor-associated peptides (TAPs) from a pre-manufactured warehouse based on the individual's HLA allotype and tumor immunopeptidome analysis. These peptides are administered subcutaneously in combination with XS15 (Pam3Cys-GDPKHPKSF), a novel water-soluble Toll-like receptor 1/2 (TLR1/2) ligand, and emulsified in Montanide ISA 51 VG. This combination is designed to overcome the low immunogenicity typically associated with peptide vaccines by inducing potent, long-lasting CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell responses against the tumor cells.
