Overview

iNK004 is a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-engineered induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology. It is designed to target B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), a protein highly expressed on the surface of malignant plasma cells in multiple myeloma. By utilizing iPSC technology, iNK004 aims to provide an "off-the-shelf" cellular immunotherapy that overcomes the limitations of patient-specific CAR-T therapies, such as manufacturing complexity and high costs. The CAR construct enables the iPSC-derived NK cells to specifically recognize and eliminate BCMA-expressing multiple myeloma cells.
