Overview

iNK008 is a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-engineered induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by Cell Inspire Biotechnology. The product is engineered to target CD19, a protein expressed on the surface of B cells, and is further modified to secrete interleukin-15 (IL-15) to enhance the survival, expansion, and cytotoxic activity of the NK cells within the immunosuppressive tumor or disease environment. iNK008 is being developed for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, such as lymphoma, as well as B-cell mediated autoimmune diseases including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), idiopathic inflammatory myopathy (IIM), and systemic sclerosis. It is currently in the preclinical stage, with ongoing investigator-initiated trials (IIT) and in vivo validation studies.
