Overview

INM007 is an equine-derived polyclonal antibody fragment (F(ab')2) therapy developed by Inmunova for the treatment of Hantavirus Cardiopulmonary Syndrome (HCPS). Utilizing Inmunova's Immuno-Fusion (IFT) platform, the drug is generated by immunizing horses with recombinant Hantavirus antigens to produce high titers of neutralizing antibodies. The antibodies are subsequently purified and processed into F(ab')2 fragments to enhance safety by minimizing the risk of Fc-mediated adverse reactions like serum sickness. INM007 is designed to provide immediate passive immunity, targeting multiple Hantavirus strains, including the Andes virus, to neutralize viral particles and prevent the severe respiratory and cardiovascular complications associated with HCPS. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for safety and pharmacokinetics.
