INM008

INM008 is a preclinical vaccine candidate developed by Inmunova for the prevention of Hantavirus Cardiopulmonary Syndrome (HCPS). HCPS is a severe and often fatal respiratory disease caused by hantaviruses, which are zoonotic pathogens typically transmitted to humans through contact with infected rodents. The vaccine is engineered using Inmunova's proprietary Immuno-Fusion Strategy (IFS) platform, which utilizes recombinant protein technology to enhance the immune response. The IFS platform typically involves the fusion of a target antigen to a carrier protein, such as the B-subunit of Shiga toxin, to optimize antigen presentation and stimulate a robust protective immune response. INM008 aims to address a significant unmet medical need, as there are currently no specific vaccines or antiviral treatments approved for HCPS.
