Overview

INN-217 is a proprietary oral formulation of the tight junction modulator larazotide being developed to improve delivery to the intestine for gastrointestinal indications such as celiac disease. By optimizing larazotide exposure at the intestinal mucosa while limiting systemic absorption, INN-217 is intended to enhance restoration of epithelial barrier integrity and reduce antigen-driven inflammation in patients with barrier dysfunction–mediated conditions.[5]
