INNA1605 is a selective small molecule inhibitor of Tyrosine Kinase 2 (TYK2) developed by Wuhan Eno Pharm Co., Ltd. for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, specifically plaque psoriasis. TYK2 is a member of the Janus kinase (JAK) family that plays a pivotal role in the signaling pathways of cytokines such as interleukin-23 (IL-23), interleukin-12 (IL-12), and Type I interferons (IFN), which are central to the pathogenesis of psoriasis. By selectively inhibiting TYK2, INNA1605 aims to block these inflammatory signals while avoiding the systemic side effects associated with the inhibition of other JAK family members (JAK1, JAK2, and JAK3). The drug is currently undergoing clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, and efficacy in patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis.
