Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Innoryos is a viscoelastic medical product developed by ALBOMED GmbH for the treatment of joint osteoarthritis, specifically knee osteoarthritis. It is a combination formulation consisting of bacterial-derived sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) and niacinamide (15mg). The hyaluronic acid component acts as a viscosupplement to restore the rheological properties of synovial fluid, providing lubrication and shock absorption within the joint. Niacinamide is included for its anti-inflammatory properties, which may help mitigate degenerative processes in arthritic joints. The product is administered via intra-articular injection and has been studied in both single-injection (2.5% concentration) and triple-injection (2.2% concentration) protocols for patients with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis.
