InnovaBurn is a placental-derived extracellular matrix (ECM) medical device developed by Convatec for the management of various wound types, specifically optimized for partial-thickness second-degree burns. It is a xenograft manufactured using the proprietary TriCleanse Process, which decellularizes the placental tissue while preserving essential structural proteins. The device provides a biological scaffold that conforms and adheres to the wound site, requiring no special preparation or orientation. It is indicated for burns, traumatic lacerations, dehisced incisional wounds, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, post-Mohs surgical wounds, and diabetic ulcers.
