Drug intelligence / Profile preview
InnovaMatrix FS is a sterile, single-use medical device composed of extracellular matrix (ECM) derived from porcine placental material. Developed by Convatec (formerly Triad Life Sciences), it is a fenestrated sheet specifically designed to manage wounds with heavy exudate by providing a biological scaffold that supports cellular ingrowth while allowing fluid to pass through. The device is manufactured using the proprietary TriCleanse™ Placental Extracellular Matrix Process, which decellularizes the tissue while preserving essential structural proteins. It is indicated for the management of various wound types, including surgical wounds (such as donor sites, grafts, and post-Mohs surgery) and trauma wounds (such as lacerations and skin tears).
