Inoserp Europe

Inoserp Europe is a polyvalent equine F(ab')₂ antivenom designed for the treatment of snake envenoming caused by medically important snakes in Europe, including Western Russia and Turkey. It is specifically formulated to neutralize the venoms of several species within the genera *Vipera*, *Montivipera*, and *Macrovipera*, which are responsible for most serious snakebite cases in these regions. The antivenom consists primarily of F(ab')₂ immunoglobulin fragments derived from horse plasma immunized with relevant venoms. Its mechanism involves binding and neutralizing snake venom toxins circulating in the bloodstream, thereby preventing or reversing systemic effects of envenomation. In preclinical studies, Inoserp Europe demonstrated appropriate neutralizing potency against target venoms; however, some comparative studies suggest it may have lower efficacy than certain other available antivenoms when tested at equivalent doses[1][2][3].
