Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Inoserp Pan-Africa** is an intravenously administered, freeze-dried polyvalent snake antivenom manufactured by Inosan Biopharma for treatment of clinically significant snakebite envenomation in sub-Saharan Africa. Its active component is highly purified equine-derived immunoglobulin G F(ab')2 fragments raised against venoms from medically important viperid and elapid snakes. The polyclonal antibody fragments bind and neutralize circulating venom toxins, facilitating their redistribution away from tissues and elimination. The product covers at least 18 immunizing snake species, with reported cross-neutralization against additional species, and has been evaluated under real-world clinical conditions in Cameroon.
