Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Inotodiol is a lanostane-type triterpenoid compound derived from the Chaga mushroom (*Inonotus obliquus*). It exhibits strong biological activities, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-tumor, anti-aging, and anti-allergic properties. Inotodiol promotes the atypical maturation of dendritic cells, enhancing T cell proliferation without inducing pro-inflammatory cytokine production. It also inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells and induces apoptosis in human cervical cancer HeLa cells by regulating cell cycle proteins and apoptosis-related genes.
