INS19 CAR-T cells are an investigational chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by Beijing Imunopharm Technology. This therapy involves engineering a patient's own T lymphocytes to express a synthetic receptor targeting CD19, a protein commonly found on the surface of B lymphocytes. The modified T cells are designed to recognize and eliminate CD19-expressing malignant or autoreactive B cells. The primary indications under investigation include relapsed or refractory acute B lymphoblastic leukemia, B-cell leukemia, pre-B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and systemic lupus erythematosus. As of March 2025, the drug is in Phase 1 clinical trials[1][2]. The mechanism of action centers on CD19 modulation and replacement of dysfunctional T lymphocytes.
