iNSC-EV01 is an investigational exosome-based therapy comprising extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from human induced neural stem cells (iNSCs). Developed by Wiseheart in collaboration with Xuanwu Hospital, this candidate is designed for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke. The therapy utilizes the paracrine signaling capacity of neural stem cells by delivering a concentrated cargo of bioactive molecules—including microRNAs, proteins, and lipids—directly to injured neural tissues. The mechanism of action involves multi-modal regenerative effects, including neuroprotection, the modulation of post-stroke neuroinflammation, and the promotion of endogenous neurogenesis and angiogenesis. iNSC-EV01 is typically administered intravenously, aiming to bypass or traverse the blood-brain barrier to facilitate recovery and reduce neurological deficits following an ischemic event.
