It is formulated based on the principles of "invigorating spleen for strengthening vital qi" and "collateral disease theory." The primary components of this compound are Tianlong (gecko) and centipede. It is being investigated for its potential to reduce the toxicity associated with chemotherapy and enhance the anti-tumor effects in patients with colorectal cancer. Research suggests that its active components may exert tumor inhibitory effects and induce cell cycle arrest in cancer cells.
