Drug intelligence / Profile preview
InstanCART (also known as INS21) is an autologous, fourth-generation chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), developed by Beijing Imunopharm Technology. It is designed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (R/R MM). The CAR construct (BCMA-BBZ-OX40) incorporates a 4-1BB costimulatory domain and CD3ζ signaling domain, along with an independently-expressed OX40 (CD134) receptor to enhance T-cell survival, proliferation, and anti-tumor efficacy while reducing exhaustion. InstanCART is manufactured using an instant manufacturing platform that significantly shortens the production period (vein-to-vein time) to approximately 2–3 days compared to traditional CAR-T manufacturing processes (TraditionCART), which typically take 9–14 days. In clinical studies, InstanCART has demonstrated a favorable safety profile, robust in vivo expansion, and high efficacy in patients with R/R MM.
